A Trip Around Frontierland (2012 Edit)

Views of the River Rogue Keelboats, the Mark Twain Riverboat, Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Cottonwood Creek Ranch and the Disneyland Railroad, shot at Disneyland Paris between 2007 and 2012 by my wife and myself. I edited the footage and arranged some music to go with it. This revised version includes some new shots while a few others were replaced or improved. I have yet to shoot some decent footage inside Phantom Manor so that will have to wait for a future edit.

Disneyland Paris 2012 – Tour around Big Thunder Mountain with Mark Twain Riverboat HD

An HD Onride Video of the Mark Twain riverboat that goes around Big Thunder Mountain in Frontierland at Disneyland Paris. The Mark Twain Riverboat is an attraction, located at the Disneyland theme park in Anaheim, California, on which passengers embark on a scenic, 12-minute journey around the Rivers of America. Originally named the Mark Twain Steamboat when the park opened in 1955, the stately, 5/8-scale stern-wheeler was the first functional riverboat to be built in the United States for fifty years. Other Disney riverboat attractions now appear at Walt Disney World, Tokyo Disneyland and Disneyland Paris. The Frontierland area of Disneyland Park has the unique distinction of featuring two riverboats, the Mark Twain and the Molly Brown. Each riverboat features a recorded conversation between the Captain and Mark Twain or Molly Brown. Since the storyline takes place in the fictional town of Thunder Mesa, most of the spiel deals with the sights of Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Wilderness Island, Smuggler’s Cove, an old snoring fisherman, Yosemite National Park geysers, dinosaur remains… The Mark Twain is based on the Anaheim Park’s original riverboat. This is a sternwheeler. The Molly Brown, named after the famous survivor of the Titanic, is the only sidewheeler currently found in a Disney Park. On May 16, 2005, the Molly Brown ‘s engine overheated as the boat rounded the corner at the back of the Rivers of the Far West. Although there was no visible fire, smoke

“Finally, Disneyland Paris” Kitkatgo’s photos around Paris, France

A TripAdvisor™ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Paris, France by TravelPod blogger Kitkatgo titled “Finally, Disneyland Paris!” Kitkatgo’s travel blog entry: “On this trip: Me, DH, DD10, & DS…who turned 6 the wk after our trip. We are from Southern California, US. We stayed at the Movenpick from May 23 to May 27. We arrived via Eurostar train from London. The train station is right next to the entrance to the Disney Village, Disneyland Paris, and Walt Disney Studios Parks. To get to our hotel, we had to go to the bus area (next to the station) and get the pink bus No54, which goes to MyTravel, Movenpick, Kyriad and Holiday Inn hotels. The day we arrived, after check-in, we took the bus back to Disney Village and walked around. We had lunch at New York Sandwiches. It was very good and the people were very nice. We looked at some of the Disney hotels, walked around the lake, let the kids ride the motorized cars. Our first two full days in Paris, we spent in Paris by taking the train (bought Visite Passes) in and out each day. We did the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and walked all over Paris. We found out our first night coming back that the buses stop running pretty early…and we were lucky to get a ride back to our hotel!!!! We went to DLP on our last day of our trip, which may or may not have been a good thing. That day the park opened at 9 am but we did not get there until 10. We had been in Paris the night before and were very tired, so we just didn’t get there at
